Title: The 'Extra' ones
The arrival of the hamsters certainly adds some life to the house. My mum used to dislike the idea of having pet in the house. But I guess the pets were given by someone she knows that's why she has much resistance to it and on top of that, it could be that she has been seeing the hamsters and dog while working for such long time that an acceptance is achieved. What's more, my dad who used to rear a dog certainly welcomes the hamsters. My brother has played with them when he was free.
Playing with the hamsters takes some skills and practices, i am sure. Each moment that i spent on looking at it, i thought it was worth while. In some part of my memory, the hamsters were pictured taking a big yawn. Mind you, it is not most beautiful scene that you would like as the 2 protruding teeth were threatening (imagine it bites you with that). I am not trying to scare any potential hamster-owners but i think it would not bite you unnecessarily.

Short Tips:
Qns: Why would a hamster bite you?
Ans: It might be because that it did not get accustomed to your smell and you have already attempted to carry it in your hands. A safe way would be to let the hamster do a short sniff/investigation of your hand. After that, it would be better to handle it.
Qns: Other than that, what should you know about it?
Ans: As the hamster is poor in vision, it relies heavily on its sense of smell. No cold food allowed for it.

So there were times, the hamsters would try to compete with each other for the use of the exercise wheel. For instance, when the female one is at work, the male would force its way into way the wheel whilst stopping the exercise and pushed the female to the outside of the small-sized wheel.
Most of the time, they would be sleeping and could really sleep for a long time.
