Title: simple yet selfish wish
Somehow, for certain reasons, i find it hard to coax myself to sleep tonight. I have a simple problem of taking my mind off thinking. I feel lethargic now. But I can't sleep just yet. It is probably down to the air of nostalgia i breathe in now. I am going to make a little wish. To me, it is a small yet selfish wish. This wish will be fulfilled, won't it? Now that i can do is pray and wait for the miracle to appear right before me.

repercussions

Today, someone told me this. I was set into thinking the whole day.
Today, someone called me this and again, i was set into thinking the whole day.
In my mind, there were only repercussions of what that someone told me. Indeed, it was a day of repercussions. Perhaps no one will ever understand the repercussions.

Earning is better than spending; most of us just won't get it
Title: Earning is better than spending; most of us just won't get it
Earning is better than spending.
Spending is an activity which includes people of all ages without no age discrimination. Spending is a simple process which only requires a person to just pick out the money out of her money and then pay whatever amount stated in the bill. Also, spending does give one a feeling of happiness for a while.
However, it takes some hardship to understand the importance of earning. Earning is normally based on hours worked or comissions, or one's qualifications. Earning is tough. It takes up most of a person's time to work and earn the money which one could spend in a few seconds. To earn reflects one's ability to make a living. Besides, earning teaches us to be more mature. Earning imparts one life skill. Earning is somehow like a way to creating value.
Spending does not teach one a lesson. Earning does and many lessons are learnt from there.

Succession of tests
Title: Succession of tests
If there is a phobia in my mind, i believe the phobia will come back haunting me. Or nicely put, it will transform and multiply into numerous tests and they all come in succession.What's worse, the more you dislike it, the more it wants to haunt you. For example, when one is distributing flyers, there is a possibility of seeing dog in one or 2 units barking at you. Well, I met them 4 times in a row. The first 3 dogs were undoubtedly fierce. Well, soon i will be immuned to this. Life is a succession of tests.
I PASSED one of the tests.

One month to go - 16 Sep 2008
Title: One month to go - 16 Sep 2008
There is one more month to go - 16 sep 2008. From this day onwards, I will be missing in action. Updates will not be so often, but surely they will come. Psychologically, physically I will be tested and pushed to my limits.
But for now, I will still carry on with my colourful life. Wish time flies as all mysteries will be unravelled. Wishes that my wishes will come true. Oh, how I wish!

someone's birthday

Today was someone's birthday - 15 August 2008. Unknowingly, i met the person. Perhaps it was one-in-a-million chance to meet the particular someone. It was a perhaps a surprise for me as well. After seeing that someone a while, i was told of someone's birthday. My first response was,"Why didn't you tell me?"
However, everything seemed to be in place for me. I still managed to give that someone a present.
Well, that someone has changed abit. I wish that someone HAPPY BIRTHDAY! May all your wishes come true!

"When time drags, i drat it," the old man lamented. While he was saying this, he looked into the eyes of his young grandson. Obviously, the sentence was targeted at the young lad. But a 9 year-old could not grasp the possibly abstract statement. The boy presented a curious face. Then the old man began saying,"I foresee the many, tedious tests ahead of you."
"Because of the tests, you will begin to sacrifice your innocent youth in order to become an understanding person. Each test brings you a new level of understanding. Understanding creates a mature person. At end of it, you will be like me and sympathise the way we old people feel, behave. But, a pity, this takes years."

reminiscing nature with eeyore
Title: reminiscing nature with Eeyore
Accompanied by my Eeyore, we went to places: Woodlands, Khatib. I did some reading at the library, Woodlands. This is the place where i'd like to read a particular book the most. But today, another book has won me over. In Khatib, there are 2 places that contained some memories. They are Bottle Tree Park and Lower Seletar Reservoir.

A trip that brought me back all the memories. I once had all those moments in these places and the feelings are just fine and well-retained. I am glad. Eeyore is glad as well. :)
