Peng Peng Yi Yi's Wedding

Title: Peng Peng Yi Yi's Wedding

I have just come back from Peng Peng Yi Yi's wedding which was on 18 Dec. It was great having dinner at Raffles Hotel (but no thanks to the headache that i had nearing the end of the wedding dinner).

I did not sleep alot. I was awake till 3am as Brother was going to Peng Peng Yi Yi's house to see Ah Ma combed her hair and he also witnessed the part where Kef, Peng Peng Yi Yi's husband had to bargain his way through the 'obstacles' to get to her. Tania (aka Da-Jie) also made her contributions by helping to apply lip gloss on the bride groom.

I woke up at 8am. Then we headed to Peng Peng Yi Yi's house for tea-drinking ceremony. There Brother and i met Tammie (aka Er-Jie) and Aaron. As usual, i would be crapping. For every small detail, i had a comment and would express it out to them. Guess what, Aaron actually said this, " That was a needless comment." The phrase was so infectious that i used it less than 5 minutes when Aaron made a really "needless comment" (which i've forgotten what it was).

We also got to know Samuel and he is from Australia. Dickson, Chloe, Yan An, May Ning and their families all came slightly later than us.

After that, we left for respective homes and then met again in the evening. For others, they might have caught some sleep more than i did (slept for 30minutes as i had a dental appointment). This was one of the causes for my subsequent headache.

I went to Raffles City with Tammie, Aaron, Brother, Mum and Dad after reaching Raffles Hotel. We did not manage to get the tie clip. We met up with the rest later.

During the dinner, I could actually see tear in the corner of Peng Peng Yi Yi's eyes as she was walking to the platform. I think she really felt blessed. I wish her and Kef a blissful marriage.
