Weekends Spent

Title: Weekends Spent

Saturday - 30June. I went out with Ming Kuan, Yi Hao, Cheng Ning, Yong Sin, Clement and friends and Guan Zhu to watch soccer matches and the closing ceremony of the National Stadium at Kallang. I thought that it was quite interesting for the soccer match. Towards the end there was also the firework display.

Sunday - 1July. Church service filled up the entire morning. Well, it was actually an anniversary to mark the 19th year of Good News Baptist Church (GNBC). Acompanied by Michelle and Guan Zhu, i attended Ann's church service. (By the way, Ann and Michelle are older than the church itself.) Well, the venue, was first of all different. It was at NTU Alumni Club. So the atmosphere was quite relaxing, given that it was held in dim-lighted lounge filled with comfy seats. I thought i would fall asleep soon during the service as i slept only 4 hours before going.
There were games and some performance items. The first game required us to guess with some clues given, the church member. So when it was in the middle of the game, there came a hint where it said that 'she would be happy or something if you are SWEET to her'. At first, i thought it was some church members i would not have known. Instead, the answer was, 'Ann'. The reason given was that the words 'Ann' and 'ant' have similar pronunciation.

Then in the afternoon, we had some karaoke session - where it was dominated mainly by FIR songs (Ann's selections).
