29 Mar - 30 Mar
Met Grace, Aik Nen, Amy and Wen Jie. So we proceeded to Suntec where we went to some chocolate warehouse sales to buy some tibits. Well, a trading happened, quoted from Aik Nen. Soon, Grace and Wen Jie went off while Pearlyn joined us shortly. We then went to Bugis to have some dessert. Soon, we were at National Library and Pak Wing walked around the level 1 but could not locate us as we were all along in the lift and then at level 11. Well, next stop was Vivocity. We saw Amy off and had a short dinner. Then we travelled to Lakeside.
Well, eating never seemed to end here. Instead, it just continued. So after meeting up with Xiaoting, Grace and Derek, we headed to Boon Lay for supper (nasi lemak). What was lucky for us was that we managed to board the last bus and finally we reached my house.
The night was spent playing mahjong. Then again, we ate. This time, it was some curry puff. When it was about time, we were sharing jokes via smses with courtesy of Aik Nen and Xiaoting. haha.
I am bushed but like it when it was just all fun/noises from them.

Our friendship; my prophecy
Title: Our friendship; my prophecy
Friends are hard to find. They represent a miracle unknowingly in my life. So here is my telling of our past, present and beyond:
We became friends through weeks of knowing, weeks of being through, weeks of understanding, weeks of joy. But weeks are short. So the friendship, it is... hard to believe, hard to convince, hard to happen. Nonetheless, the friendship is knitted closely.
We stood together barely through months of knowing, months of being through, months of understanding, months of joy. But months are still short. So the friendship, it is... hard to believe, hard to convince, hard to happen. Nonetheless, the friendship is knitted more closely.
This friendship can be cemented through years of knowing, years of being through, years of understanding, years of joy. But years are still, still short. So the friendship, it is still, still... hard to believe, hard to convince, hard to happen. Nonetheless, the friendship is knitted more, more closely.
The only litmus test that proves this friendship is true and loving forever is here. Eternity of a true miracle outwits weeks of disbelief, months of doubts and years of ambiguity. Thus, we can win the confrontation with time of uncertainty through the rocky times.
Till now, my prophecy is only close half true. I will patiently await for my prophecy to become a legend!

random
Title: random
Initially, the plan was East Coast Road then East Coast Park. However, it was never going according to plan. I deemed it heaven's will, hard to defy it. We were halfway through the plan, eating ice-cream at East Coast Road. Then it rained and a heavy one. The mood came crashing as though we all entered into a period of recession. From all hyped up to all bored down.
Without any wet weather plan, we adopted a 'random' plan. So we just took a bus to Suntec. It was thought that we'd play bowling. Somehow, we still did not. Then we treaded our way to Mind's in the rain. In the end, it was fully occupied. So we again, aimlessly walked to Paradiz Centre and had Macdonald's before arcade and then pool.
The night ended when we finished watching movie. So random.

Betrayal
Title: Betrayal
there are something that i found that not everytime that someone says explicitly she hates you, it means that she hates you. but of course, i have found so as her behaviour, expression and tone have all betrayed her. I think it must be the culture makes people sometimes mistakes the meaning of the word 'hate' for the word 'like' unintentionally. Could it also be that people of different age groups like to express their feelings differently?
It does not really matter at all. The most important is that the intention is true and we can all be friends for a long, long time.

movie outing

I just came back from movie with HAN XIANG, YI LONG, GUAN ZHU, ANN, CYNTHIA, 孙女. The movie was definitely worth every cent spent. It was short outing but we still managed to chat and update each other of our daily lives.

the world changes
Title: the world changes
These few weeks the world has seen alot of changes and i am getting into the habit of reading daily news. Reading these news somewhat, somehow saddens me. They are all but negative news. I remember that my teacher told me that the economy is about psychology. It is how one reads the news and then acts on it. If everyone thinks that the economy does not do well, then it is not going to and vice versa. For me, after reading news like oil price increase and so on, i also get headache continuing reading the news. Well, it is down to the fact i am having lesser spending power these days. There are alot of changes going on and they are massive changes. Want to know more about the changes? Read the newspapers daily. haha. Well, i am educated from there.
To end off this post, the people who are in Laos, Cambodia and Hong Kong are coming back soon. haha. Countdown to wednesday, thursday and friday starts...

A beautiful collection of memories
Title: A beautiful collection of memories
Sometimes, it takes someone to help you recall your past. This was what happened to me today. Ping Chie, my cousin plunged into the topic about our childhood. Then all the images of the past came into mind. There were parts that both me and him had a part in it but i just could not recall. Fortunately, i could recall most of it. As he was saying how the 7 male cousins of us used to play with toy guns, i just wanted to return to that familiar picture. It was when we used to dominate our grandma's house on almost every saturday and sunday. Saturday's nights were usually spent playing and watching late nights' movies. But they were just but what they are now, history. Ping Chie commented that it was pure fun and lamented how he could return to that, we all once enjoyed. A beautiful collection of memories.

an individual who loves the other till death is a real nut-case when it is an unreciprocal love. The love that he thought was the sweetest thing on earth he could give to that special one, could turn out to be the most horrible item the other could ever witness on earth.
what is the sweetest thing that a guy could ever have done for a girl? it could be the simplest of all things. but then when i think about this, for a girl, it could be that the girl has never had such sweet moments so probably there is nothing that she can refer back to/compare with. This would mean that girl who has experienced such sweet moments may actually do some comparison thus raising the expectations? For this, i am not really sure.
Well, the other theory works. Hear this out, it could be a girl who had maybe a few ex-s. However, she had fallen deeply in love with the current boy and considered the simple thing this boy did was the sweetest as he was the one that she loved the most. So, it means that even if the boy who comes up with the most creative move to impress a girl, as long as the girl does not like the boy, then it counts to nothing for all the effort in surprising/touching the girl.

Question. Just Question. This is the way of life. I believe that the more one questions, the more knowledge he will gain. Firstly, it is encouraging for person who likes to question. This shows that the person's like for the subject. Also, by asking, the person already exercises his brain to think through the subject and to be able to point out areas where he/she is in doubt. Or there is a possibility the person can even point out a pointer that is not even mentioned.
Don't mind what others say. Just question. Some so-called intelligent folks may laugh at people who come up with silly question (that requires the most obvious answer). Guess what, sometimes people ask stupid question will still get the most accurate answer to whatever doubt they may have. The key point here is to clear the doubt. Questions that are rephrased can sometimes answer your problem directly. So it is never deemed stupid to question.

Observation
Title: Observation
There is something that we all have overlooked in life, don't we? It is a skill that we all possess but at many times, we simply do not use it fully. Observation has been part of us since young. It is a strong foundation for our daily learning. From what one can observe in his environment, he can see others' behaviour, expressions. Through what he sees, it can then be used as a basis for further deduction and analysis. This is where he needs to think hard about the actions that one has committed and the motive behind them. Moreover, it is within seconds that a specific action can be executed and that one needs to keep a high level of concentration in order to witness exactly the action, every inch. Moreover, sometimes, in some situations, it requires the person to observe and react fast to the other party as soon as possible (e.g. debate).
Observation allows us to think further and move according to situations.

Sending off
Title: Sending off
Pearlyn went off for Laos today and Yong Qing left last friday for China. Then, Maureen, Derek, JiaFeng, Amy are leaving on friday. Pak Wing is leaving for Hong Kong (personal trip) on friday too. haha. However, i will see them all in 2 weeks' time except Yong Qing.
Last friday, we all gave Yong Qing a wishing bottle for her sending off and i tried to roll the bottle to her feet. First try was a failure but the second attempt was marvellous.
Then today, we went to watch movie - Leap Years. I kept 'hmmm chi' in cantonese is don't know. I kept doing that to Maureen during the movie till she fed up. Pearlyn was more powerful as she laughed at the most touching part of the show (can't believe it), Shini-mama. We also went to speak a mixture of languages - Japanese, Cantonese. Seems so fun. In the end, Pearlyn said we are a retarded family with some weird communication as for example, i can ask Pak Wing something in Japanese and he would reply in Cantonese. So nonsense. Fast forward to night time and i played scissor, paper, stone with Pearlyn. This time, i just can't make it. I used not to get any blue-black but tonight i just got it. Pak Wing commented that i was hit 3 times compared to Pearlyn was hit one time on ratio. In the end, both of us got blueblack and it was moments before she was about to board the bus. So nonsense.

Reminder in life
Title: Reminder in life
I need to do a few things during my holidays: organising, reading, writing, working. They are the things i need to exercise and i must have the same determination to do these. Guan Zhu reminded me today that i do not have the determination to do things. I want to prove him wrong this time and that i will stick firmly to achieve my fantasy dream. I want to prove through actions. Thank you for the reminder, Guan Zhu. This reminder is a wake-up call for me.
