Absence
Absence really makes the heart grow fonder. Sometimes, when you fall in love with someone, there is a time when you cannot meet each other. But it might just work out. It gives you time to cool down and really think hard on your feelings. This is a testing period and the feelings stay the same. It might just further ascertain your feelings.

school, so far
It has been a blast for the past 2 weeks. I have had fun-filled camps and activities in school. In fact, i have been meeting and making new friends. It is just getting better to know more people. Moreover, it is amusing to make friends of different backgrounds and talents. Some could dance while others could draw well. I have been impressed.
Then came the mind-testing system which i have to use to bid for the modules i need to study. I failed in getting one module out of 3. Hopefully, i can get the last one in my next window (which ends tomorrow).
I want to study 4 credit units this term, pleaaaaseee!

that day
That day, i went back. Notably, there was a vast change. There were plenty of new faces. Nonetheless, the older ones still greeted me with that ever-cheerful welcome. They were always asking how i was. I was deeply touched by their curiosity. But came a funny boy who asked for my name and my mum's. I was surprised. I did not know him at all but his facial expression was lovely.

Blues
I am tearing each week away from my life right now. Blues about my situation? I think about everyone in my state would do so. That is because right from the start, nobody wanted it to begin. Ultimately, I am heading towards the goal of my life and i got one chance now. It is best to take down the chance well with the all necessary (and unpleasant) experience i have gained. All the best for the future:)

Renewed confidence
2 days ago, i stepped upon the same stage last year. It was the same stage where i was presented award for being the second best in the cohort. Never was i expecting to rise up to another ceremony and for a different award. It was a recognition but ultimately it marks my commitment in these past (close to) 2 years. Whether i deserve the recent award, it will be proved in the next 2 months.
With that, i am hoping to don on an usual but renewed aura of confidence and bringing an end to my one time commitment, in style. :)

change to the past
There will be a big change this year. But this change will be a familiar one. But the question mark lies in how fast i can adapt BACK to it. It is studying again. From what i heard, it is not that easy and it is crucial to do some read up before entering university. Well, i have a deep rot in my head. With this, i shall find a way to read up on Econonmics. GOOD LUCK, Kwan Chet!

31 Dec 2009
31 Dec 2009 began when i plodded my way to the Centre again but for the very last time. For some, it might be the last time we ever met on this surface. It was slightly more toned down. However, where there is distance, the hearts came closer than ever. Ms. Lynn called me and we chatted for a while. Surprisingly, Wuwu called and so we chatted on the phone for over an hour. Wuwu entertained us with his guitar skills and jokes. While doing so, Cheryl approached me on Facebook. Soon she was invited to the conference. When we were all done, it was 2 hours plus call.
Then i headed straight to Ion Orchard. As usual, i was late. Fish & Co was the place where Cynthia, Han Xiang, Yi Long and me met. But the weirdest thing was to come. I had an impulse to do the silliest thing on earth. So i did. I asked the waitress for her number. Surprisingly, she gave and her name as well. I think the people around me were stunned so was the girl. This might just be the last crazy thing i did last year and in many years to come.
Still, we got to see Michelle accidentally in her bf's car. It was coincidental.
Year 2010 has arrived. The breath of freedom is ringing the bells. I think my time is going to come soon.
My new year resolutions will be:
- time to fly faster and i can study
- get back my freedom
- do extraordinary acts
- meet my lost friends

6 dec - AWESOME NIGHT! Luckily i did not miss this dinner with dad, mummy, Boon, Aaron, Dajie and Erjie. It was not pre-planned. It was random and last minute. But it turned out to be the best dinner. ROARS!

queer feeling
It was a queer feeling but certainly, it was familiar and filled with warmth. To embrace the truth, it was a positive one. Hope everything is fine for my family and friends.

Visiting wanted
Just a few days, i was alerted to a piece of bad news. The place is closing down in December. How sad! But this move might not come as a surprise. Visiting them soon!

leave me alone
I believe it is a period of worries, surprisingly. November and December are the months that we all should indulge ourselves in fun. There are many things in my mind and they are all worries. Can they just leave me alone?

Hospital stay
Sadly, I left. It was abrupt. It caught everyone by surprise especially myself. It must be a lie to say that i do not miss my friends there. Still, i packed my bag and i left them my cards with messages from my heart.
Opposed to what some people might say, this is a place - i find serenity, love, joy. People will usually associate this place to an in-between of life and death or maybe a place for living dead. So it is better to avoid it. It is true that we all should avoid it since visiting it means that we are injured or on the verge of death.
But somehow, i fell in love with it. I just fell in love with the hospital. You may find it hard to believe. Once, i resisted living in hospital but it took me merely 2 nights and 2 days to like it. How could i bear to leave it when there is a good system that nurses me back to health? How could i bear to leave it when i make friends there? How could i bear to leave it when i was told i was her first patient she did a jab on?
They were way too good.
They were willing to open up a conversation with me. They were meticulous with handling my injury. Best of all, they could carry on with their work with much professionalism, even though it is an emotionally and physically tiring job.
During my stay, it was not just about being happy. Pain did come along. It was the pain i experienced and they were always around to fight it away. I was not alone. Also, i had difficulty moving about. But not to worry, they were with me when i wanted to move about.
I felt so much at home. Not lonely, not unhappy. Seriously, how many times are you asked the questions: "how are you", "is it still painful" in your life? By showing concerns and care, the patients can really recover faster.
Then in the middle of the night, they will still do their rounds and check on each patient. When something is amiss, they will solve it even when the patient is asleep. I had my night when people kept shouting for nurses. It was really amusing. I think only people who were there with me will understand it.
As a person, i may be emotional. But the point is i have come to appreciate them so much. I just wonder how they are doing now. I think it is still business as usual - Ward 12C, Bed 81A.

November - please run faster
I am back. Things have changed in just weeks. More importantly, the time has passed quickly. Yesterday, i received my matriculation package from my university. Finally, i can confirm myself a place in that learning institute.
Year 2009 is going to be over soon and i will be studying again in less than a year. This is great. I can be myself again. But for now, i am waiting for the time to travel at light speed. :)

Leaving
Leaving creates meetings. Sometimes, it is the leaving that makes friends meet again. If i am still in town daily, i think we won't meet already. Less than a week and i will be away once again - 9 oct 2009.
